The CEO of THE MIGHTY MEDIA, Sayyida Bahijja Malam Kabara, has commended the efforts of the International Institute of Islamic Thought Nigeria (IIIT) Kano Office and the Kano State Council of Ulama for successfully organizing a two-day workshop for Muslim Social Media Influencers in Kano State.

The workshop, which was held at Bayero University Kano, brought together Muslim social media influencers from different Islamic groups and organizations including Qadiriyya, Tijjaniyya, Izala, and other stakeholders across the state.
Speaking during the workshop were notable Islamic scholars and intellectuals including Dr. Sa’id Ahmad Dukawa, Sheikh Ibrahim Khalil, and Dr. Bala Muhammad, among many others.
The workshop focused on several important topics aimed at promoting unity, responsible media engagement, and intellectual development among Muslim influencers. Topics discussed included unity among various Islamic sects and organizations such as Qadiriyya, Tijjaniyya, and Izala; media literacy; research and fact-checking; revealed and rational knowledge discourse; Islam and global media; content creation; and other contemporary issues affecting the Muslim Ummah.
Sayyida Bahijja Malam Kabara described the initiative as timely and highly commendable, noting that such engagements would gradually promote peace, understanding, sanity, and unity among Muslims in Kano State and beyond.
She further appreciated the organizers for creating a platform that encourages dialogue, mutual respect, and collaboration among Muslim social media influencers from diverse backgrounds.
According to her, the workshop serves as a positive step toward building a more informed, responsible, and united Muslim community capable of using media platforms for societal development and the promotion of Islamic values.
